An acceptable flag for the future
I've never liked the current Australian flag. It's awful, it's an embarrassment, it's ugly.
I've always felt the replacement's been down to one of two obvious designs:

Distinctive enough that we'd no longer be confused with New Zealand, conservative enough a change that 90 year old Diggers aren't going to have panic attacks, and the green and gold version incorporates the sporting colours Australia's used since Year Dot.
You know it makes sense.
